At Casa Goldy the rooms were lovely, beautifully clean and the bed very comfortable.  The decorations in the whole house were top notch.  The staff was friendly and accommodating.  The food was delicious!!

Everything from the chef to the other staff members were stellar --- a 10 out of 10!!!!  Casa Goldy was absolutely charming, beautiful, quaint, soothing and lovely.  The food was delicious and healthy!!  Everyone was completely thoughtful, and it was a wonderful place to stay and have peace of mind with quiet, serene and gorgeous surroundings!!!

I cannot say enough about Casa Goldy!  Initially the beauty and  peaceful atmosphere was so refreshing after arriving.  But .. the best was yet to come.  The scents of the delicious and nutritious food prepared by the most kind chef LuLu, I wasn't surprised to learn that she was a nutritionist as well as a professionally trained chef.  I experienced healing with every sumptuous meal that she prepared.  Always accommodating and so genuinely friendly.  I was cared for beyond my expectations. 
Carolina, like an angel, made my room so beautiful and cared for my needs and I seriously loved coming back to my room after each time out in the streets of San Miguel.

Carol, the Registered Nurse who is on staff, was on top of everything.  I grew to love these women and will carry their smiles and funny, gregarious personalities with me!
I must also mention the unparalleled communication skills of Dawn ... the height of organization and efficiency.

Casa Goldy is an oasis!!!  Soo tranquil, safe and very very comfortable in every way.  The rooftop terrace is fabulous!!!  A short walk to the main square.  I plan to return for my next visit to beautiful San Miguel.

Chef LuLu, Housekeeper Carolina and Nurse Carol made my stay at Casa Goldy a very happy and restful time of recovery from a surgical procedure. Casa Goldy is elegant and beautifully appointed, which added greatly to my recovery time.  From the moment I arrived from having my procedure every step was perfection! Casa Goldy reflects the highest desire for a graceful place to heal.  Thank you to Dawn Simmons who kept me confidently informed each and every step of the way. Her attention to detail at Casa Goldy is a wonder in itself.  Thank you to the entire team who make this place a delightful dream come true!!

Hi my name is Debbie and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Goldy after a cosmetic procedure in September 2022. I stayed at Casa Goldy for seven nights.
First off I could not believe how beautiful this B&B was, I was just in awe walking into the front door of this lovely place. Casa Goldy is located in a perfect spot within walking distance to the main square where you can visit the beautiful churches in San Miguel and do some shopping and sightseeing.

I cannot say enough good things about Casa Goldy, The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The whole place was fresh and clean. I stayed on the main floor and my room was called "Colibri".  It was especially nice because I really enjoyed the beautiful water fountain that was right outside my room. I would just sit outside and listen to the water fall and relax!  Another great amenity was a rooftop terrace, it was so awesome to just sit out in the evening and take in the beautiful views of the city, one of my favorite things was to just listen to the church bells ringing. I have to say I still miss that sound.
Dawn Simmons and her staff Lulu and Caroline are just perfect in every way. I felt so cared for, Lulu cooked all my meals that I truly enjoyed and Caroline kept Casa Goldy very clean and took care of all the plants and flowers that were outside. This place is a real gem!

I was pretty happy to hear when I asked Dawn if Casa Goldy was just for a recovery stay after a cosmetic procedure and she said no you can come and stay at any time.
I plan on going back to San Miguel de Allende with my family and staying at Casa Goldy. It truly was a great experience and I would love to share that with my family.

I am so glad that I chose to stay at "Casa Goldy" after having a surgical procedure.  What a beautiful place to recuperate!!  The room was lovely.  The bed is soo comfortable.  The WiFi is fast ... but the care and attention that I received has been out of this world!!  Both Carolina and LuLu have made this recovery process lavish.  And ... then there is the fabulous good!!! Oh my gosh!!!  Thank you soo much for everything.

I stayed at Casa Goldy from July 18th-July 31st. It was my first time in SMA and I was traveling by myself. The rooms at Casa Goldy are comfortable and spacious and the food prepared by Chef Lulu and Carolina was healthy, fresh and amazing. I spent quite a bit of time on the pretty rooftop terrace relaxing and taking in the pretty views of the city .
It was a great place to stay as a single traveler and when my Husband arrived near the end of the stay he thoroughly enjoyed it as well.  Casa Goldy is in a great location as I was able to walk everywhere. I would highly recommend Casa Goldy on your next trip to SMA.

I stayed at Casa Goldy, in the Paloma room on the second floor this past June. It was a wonderful respite. The room is well appointed, good sized and quiet.
Casa Goldy is located close to the town square, which makes for an easy walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. The garden in the square is a lovely tree-covered spot to relax and take in the town.
I spent many afternoons and evenings on the roof top terrace. The views are amazing and it's very peaceful. I also enjoyed spending time on the private balcony just outside my room. If the weather is unsuitable, there is a comfy lounging area indoors.
What really makes Casa Goldy special is the staff. Lulu, the chef prepares beautiful meals everyday and will cater them to your personal taste. Carolina takes special care of the house and rooms, including the beautiful flowers and gardens. Hosts Dawn and Felipe are warm and welcoming.

In San Miguel de Allende, I highly recommend Casa Goldy for your accommodations.

I am more than pleased to sing the praises of "CASA GOLDY"! Upon returning to San Miguel de Allende (where I used to own a home) after a 6-year hiatus, I wondered how different it might feel to stay in a “bed and breakfast”.

Casa Goldy did not disappoint! In fact, it was marvelous! From the moment I stepped into the front foyer, I immediately noticed how serenely quiet it was. All of the tasteful, well appointed  furnishings looked as if they had been recently purchased. In fact, the entire interior looked like it had been recently gut-renovated. Leaving the hallway behind, I stepped into a “Great Room” - a combination living room/dining room/kitchen. Having arrived much later than expected, I was pleased to find that a light cold supper awaited me.

Speaking of food, it is superb! Lulu is a professional chef and luckily for me (and you!), she also prepares mouthwatering breakfasts and lunches at Casa Goldy. These are very healthy, because fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, and a variety of freshly squeezed juices abound! Lulu offers “made to order” breakfasts from omelets to the fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is very relaxed with its welcoming <mi casa es su casa> vibe. I particularly enjoyed speaking with the staff; we helped each other improve our fluency in our respective languages, and it was fun!.

Beyond the kitchen there is a lovely garden with flowers and geraniums just about everywhere. There are three large guest rooms, one on each floor - separated from the main house by the garden. Each is very beautifully appointed with a ceiling fan, a generous bathroom, and good closet space. Since I was on the second floor, I had a private veranda. The roof-top deck atop the third floor has killer views. But that didn’t stop me from rocking myself into a deep and restful nap on the shade-covered loveseat swing.

This B&B offers great value for its reasonable price. I highly recommend it unless one is unable to climb short flights of stairs. Oh, and the walk to the El Jardin - where the action is - is no more than 5 minutes away!

My husband and I had the immense pleasure of staying at Casa Goldy in March.  Every aspect of this Bed and Breakfast in the heart of San Miguel de Allende is luxurious.  From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the sweet Lulu and Carolina you know this place is special.

The decor is comfortable, fresh, and brings you into the local vibe of San Miguel.   Each bedroom has a patio, very comfortable King bed, en suite bathroom with shower, closet, TV with streaming services, and is very spacious.

The main patio has lush flowers and comfy chairs. The rooftop patio has beautiful views and is a great place to enjoy an afternoon cocktail.

The food at Casa Goldy is delicious, if there were 10 stars Lulu and her food deserve them!  Every breakfast and lunch are a delight to look at and taste. I wanted to bring her home with me.

The location of Casa Goldy is perfect for getting everywhere in the city. Churches are right out the door. Restaurants, shops, pharmacies all within walking distance.

I highly recommend Casa Goldy to all travelers visiting the San Miguel area, you will be so glad you did

My life partner and I had the good fortune of spending a week at Casa Goldy for some rest, relaxation and wandering time in San Miguel. The location is absolutely perfect for wandering through the city.  Just a few short blocks from the paroquia and the main hub of town, lies this remarkable gem of a Bed and Breakfast, Casa Goldy.  The structure itself is a surprise behind the colonial facade and San Miguel doors. It has been completely remodeled and brought back to life with all the comforts of a high end hotel.  The finishes and decor are beautiful; expect fine king size bedding and bathroom fixtures, each room with an outdoor sitting room or balcony. I especially loved the garden area and the rooftop balcony where we had our evening cocktails, but I would have to say the absolute best part of our stay was the delicious meals, breakfast and afternoon dinner prepared by Chef Lulu.

The homemade soups were out of this world as were the surprise entrees and the snacks and deserts she left for us in the fridge for late night temptations.  The housekeeper Carolina is also a gem and went out of her way to make us comfortable and even walked us to the clinic a few blocks away to get our cursory reentry covid tests.  She didn't want us to get lost! Delightful employees, both of them.

I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Goldy and would give it 5 STARS PLUS!!

My stay at Casa Goldy was a touch of heaven that felt like being in a welcoming home. I chose Casa Goldy as the place to heal from my facelift and it was the perfect choice. It has a lovely, soothing environment. My bedroom was comfortable, tastefully decorated and spacious. I spent my days resting with the French doors open to a lovely patio, and a quiet ceiling fan keeping the temperature just perfect.

Each day I was served my meals by an amazing chef, Lulu, who created fresh fare that was perfect for the healing I was undergoing. I often ate my meals on my outside deck, but sometimes sat at the large, welcoming dining room table so I could watch Lulu cook. Carolina is also on staff and she lovingly kept the place clean and refreshed.

These two, Lulu and Carolina, became almost like a family as they helped answer questions and respond to any needs. With only three rooms -- and an amazing roof-top deck with fabulous views of San Miguel Allende -- Casa Goldy felt special and unique. It's also within walking distance to the charming main square - you are in the center of it all, but with a feeling of privacy and calm. I highly recommend Casa Goldy!

We just wanted to say we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Goldy. The convenience was well appreciated! We enjoyed our walks around and especially those up to the center where we could enjoy a restful visit to the park! There were many exceptional restaurants nearby and if we weren’t in the mood for walking home after a meal we conveniently emailed for an Uber or there were plenty of taxis. We were never out of new adventures!

But, most of all we want to say how much we appreciated the care we received from Carolina. She was there in the morning making a lovely, delicious breakfast and she kept the beautiful place exceptionally clean! And every afternoon she was busy preparing a healthy and yummy tray for us! We sure hated to leave!

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Goldie in Feb while recovering from a medical procedure and found it to be splendid.  The property has been renovated and provides a peaceful, lovely setting near all the fun in San Miguel.  The owners and staff were amazing in accommodating my needs and made my post op stay very comfortable.  Least I forget, the food was amazing and healthy.  It was a first class, intimate experience.
I look forward to my next non medical stay at Casa Goldy!  This would be a great girlfriend get away destination to escape the heat this summer.
